Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct

The Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct, adopted by the Minnesota Supreme Court, are the ethics rules that lawyers must follow.  These rules are often referred to as the MRPC.  Violations of these rules can lead to discipline for lawyers.

Effective October 1, 2005. Last amended September 1, 2022.

The Office of the Revisor of Statutes publishes the professional responsibility rules as part of the Court Rules, which can be found here. Print versions can also be found below.
